When a person dies the last Will and Testament must be proved as valid.
This involves an application being made to the Probate Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales for a Grant of Probate by the person nominated as the executor in the will. On the issue of this document by the court the executor may now deal with the estate according to your wishes.
Fay will be available to assist your executor in the legal aspects of the administration of the estate.
In order to take careful instructions from you for preparation of your will, Fay will discuss with you in conference details such as your assets, health issues and arrangements as to your children or grandchildren to ensure that your particular needs are understood. Remember, a cheap will may not necessarily cater for your individual circumstances if there has been a lack of discussion and no detailed instructions are provided.
Fees for preparation of a simple will are in the order of $650 plus GST.
